What a nice day to be by the bay on a weekend….
We spent the day at Spanish Point… it was really something!
As we arrived Isabelle was so excited and curiously asked, “Where’s the PLAYGROUND!!?” as she always needs to know! So when I told her there was no playground but actually we were inside of a playground… we would be playing in NATURE and EXPLORING!!! She was excited! So Cecilia was set in her stroller… and Belle was charging to go!!! We turned over rocks to find bugs, plucked acorns, and laid on a blanket with our noses so close to the blades of grass to watch the little ants in their own little world that goes on by our toes every day! We walked through an amazing butterfly garden! such HUGE swallow tail butterflies fluttering by just to tease us to try to touch them! so many beautiful flowers which were puffy and so much taller than us! We felt like little ants maybe inside of our world! It was so great! We had a lovely little picnic on the side of the bay and watch the boats pass by… eating our apples and pears… and feeling the breeze on our warm shoulders was the best! I love weekends like this… recharging for the week to come and reflecting on our life… and spending time as a family…. lovely!
