a little doctor play and some pilates…

it’s so fun to spy on our girlies…. they do the sweetest things… This is little Isabelle… I love when she is imagining… I can see her mind dreaming up something great… full of imagination to the fullest… from pretending to be a doctor to a pirate to a pilates student… she’s full of it!

Since we’ve limited TV time to one night a week… “Movie Night” they are constantly playing!!! I love it! Even when little Cecilia is having her nap … if Isabelle doesn’t want to sleep she is quiet… doing fun little quiet things… today she had a “patient” … honey bear… she got honey for her first Christmas from Santa Claus and they have been the best of friends. he was quite ill though and needed to go to Dr. Isabelle. 🙂

I had to peek and sneek a snap of this moment… she just was giving him such a sweet hug and whispering that “it’s going to be ok Honey Bear… you’re ok… I love you” she melts my heart seriously.

but since we have limited the TV it’s amazing how easy it was for one thing… and another the girls are playing TOGETHER so much! Before if we had a movie on to Isabelle’s request… I started to notice Cecilia (our youngest) sorta playing by herself as she’s too young to sit for a movie… it was quite sad actually… so we said enough is enough… I gathered fun things for both of them… pointed them in some sort of direction and let them go at it… they giggle constantly… make forts… play puzzles… Isabelle teaches Cecilia some things… it’s wonderful in so many ways… It’s not like TV is illegal to us or anything… hahaha… it’s just for us… when we noticed how it was sucking them up whole and they started to prefer TV to playing make believe… we had to stop… even just a half hour a day was too much… because our oldest wanted that half hour to turn to one hour… a bad cycle…. so now it’s a special treat… I must post one day our movie night ritual…
