weeeehhhewww I am so behind on blogging… so many things keep happening and piling on top of the days… I can’t complain though… life keeps happening and so it is….
Halloween was a bit ago and fades into a fun memory… in so many ways… holidays always have me reflecting back to my childhood and that to me is cozy! but Halloween was quite fun as a kid and I cannot help myself reliving those moments again and again and getting so giddy on dress up holidays… ohhh I just love having kids!
we took our girls to our “Children’s Garden” in town for their Spooktacular Event! it’s quite something a such a beautiful garden for the children in our town to explore and be at one with nature and all things beautiful… being here totally gets their imaginations spinning and to witness just that to me … is pure bliss!
so little red riding hood and cinderella had quite the fun day… they have so much fun together… I just love how our oldest helps her little sister out… takes her hand to guide her… I love when our youngest does something so sweet and our oldest sighs and looks for me and says awe… she just needs me to know that something sweet happens and it was recognized… lovely!
the pirates at work…
and then we bumped into some friends visiting the garden and our girls ran about with them some as well…
after our dinner we lit our pumpkins and lanterns and got dressed up and put little cozies in our wagon and set out to the neighborhood… I couldn’t help myself but to get that heavy heart as I watched our girls trick-or-treat…. weep weep… I stood at the end of driveways with Pappa and I said to him… “remember when we took Isabelle around in in her stroller to some of our neighbors… then we held her hand… then baby Cecilia in the stroller.. then helping her walk up with her big sister… and now they both walked up to some of the houses together holding hands… getting treats… saying Thank Yous… and running back to Pappa and I so excited… wow… how they grow… so quickly… so beautifully… it’s amazing this life!
and then finally we came home and lit a campfire to unwind a bit… Uma and Umpa stopped by so say Happy Halloween and enjoyed the fire a bit as well… it was a beautiful Halloween for sure!!!
