some of my favorite days are the simplest of days…
a day in our garden… playing with the hose… planting some seeds…
being together doing a little bit of nothing
we are so so so excited about our broccoli!
this sweet face pops in front of my camera ever so often… she’s so funny… I love this angel face!
our garden is a bit eclectic… nothing really perfect… a bit tropical and nice and shaded. When we started our garden around our home Pappa and I wanted it to be like a “secret garden” … little trails, quirky things planted in unusual places. I love how our girl’s imaginations totally open up the moment they step outside… they find secret trails where the fairies live… they cook lots of rock and fern stews… and every once in awhile they have to hop on their pirate ships and set sail to another land…
but my most favorite part of this eclectic amusement is when I find little things… things that make me laugh…
This little dinosaur caught my eye and made me laugh out loud… how did he get here… will he stay long… what kind of adventures will he too have???
so many special times shared here… many memories made
so many pretty things are in bloom… the smells… the colors… the birds… it’s fantastic in the spring!
when the jasmine is in bloom so are my senses… it’s the most beautiful scent you can imagine! It’s intoxicating and makes us so happy! To take in the scent is enough… there is something about scents… with them comes memories, happiness, and love.
usually a little bum finds it’s way into our garden… clothes get lost… and feet get mucky… childhood
