whew!
after a bit of stress before coming to Sweden it feels really good to be here!
(just a couple of days before our flight we realized.. duh duh duh… that our oldest daughter’s passport was expired!!! so a fast stressed out trip to Miami… begging to get an appointment with the passport control… just before a holiday weekend… and some tears… we got her passport!!!)
the colors of this land make me so so happy… in the summer time here it’s fantastic! There are so many flowers! so many!
I have never seen such HUGE roses… blooming like big puffy explosions of tranquility! all year they have been cold… it’s time for their debut… wait for it… BAM!!! it’s beautiful!
meeting my sister-in-law’s husband has been so wonderful! They live all the way in China… so you can imagine how important this trip has been… to finally spend some sweet time… my heart!
Uncle Daniel and Isabelle are hitting it off! They both have so much energy and are so happy! It’s so sweet to see Isabelle having so much fun! Cecilia is starting to warm up a bit too…

Swedish strawberries… a summer happy treat… so good I could almost eat the stem too… so creamy… so sweet… perfect!
girls are pretty happy to have found in Farmor & Farfar’s (Grandma and Grandpa) garden… a mulberry tree! yum… such a nice treat!
so yes, this vacation is turning out to be lovely!
a little bit of a rain just now… but a nice bike ride with our rain gear and a hike in the beach forest has us Carlsson’s making the best of it! The weather is pretty warm with a little dampness just now… the snails are out catching a little rain drop… and the flowers are covered with drip drops…
the dinner is cooking… and the windows are wide open… the pitter patter on the window panes and the birds chirping so many songs just really is perfectly enough for me!
such a nice relaxing day!
