I love Christmas for all of its tradition… I love how our girls let us know by now the things and traditions that “happen next…” It’s the little things… decorating a gingerbread house.. poking little cloves into oranges so that the house “smells like Christmas…”
the Swedish Tomten comes to our house each year… delivering our Christmas packages all the way from Sweden… He carries an old lantern that is from Pappa’s great grandfather back home… Tomten comes in with his big burlap Columbian coffee bag 🙂 full of little presents with ribbons tightly wrapped…
Christmas eve is all about Pappa making traditional Christmas food for our “Julbord!” Our family comes together trying all sorts of new and exciting things… This year Bibi is from Norway and she brought a traditional Lamb dish… Pinnekjott (hope I spelled that right?) but it was amazing and so fun to try!
girls kissing their little Fizby goodnight and goodbye until next Christmas season…
Christmas morning is one of my favorite times… the relief… the excitement… the happy children… makes it all so beautiful!!!
