Gosh it’s been such a fun time on vacation in Sweden! We have had parties, lounged in the garden, played in the pool, crossed the street for ice cream… it’s all so fun… maybe because it’s all so simple. so relaxing…
I often wonder why it is that every summer while visiting Sweden I feel so relaxed… I know yes, we are on vacation so that should pretty much sum it up… but really it’s something different.
Could it be the lack of cars? the quiet countryside? the giant gardens one could get lost in?
but then I usually realize it’s the scheduling… we hardly book much… just little day trips… sleeping in a bit… lazy mornings in our pajamas drinking pots of coffee and eating bowls of oatmeal… no where to be… no time to rush… just being…
it’s how the Swedes live in the summertime and it’s how I want to live forever!
I always try to take things from vacation… learn a bit about myself… what can I do differently on returning…
slow living is my plan for the next year…
