It never gets old… these mountain memories… these views…
Every winter we have a tradition of going north or somewhere for New Years Eve! It’s so much fun! Sometimes we have been lucky to get a little snow… but this year just the nip in the air was perfect!
Our cabin was absolutely AMAZING!!! right outside our door was this view! but this jacuzzi was unreal! We toasted our bums in it each night after a day of hiking and ice skating… it was perfect! Unwind, relax, have some wine… and out we go for cooking time!
I think just spending time together by the fire playing games was the best this year… we got really good a Uno… Ugggh I always forget to say UNO! hahaha… Mamma!
I love how much our family is connected to nature… our girls, and we are obsessed! Mattias and I have always been nature lovers… camping, mountain biking… it’s what we love… so having these girls that need nature just makes sense! I love how on our hikes they talk to Mother Nature and Mother Earth… it’s adorable. They ask her to make the mountains not so steep but make the view at the top beautiful… They call the fairies to please come out one day… I think our favorite times are often outside…
I adore these girl’s relationship… their sisterhood. It’s absolutely beautiful… It’s a treasure to me!
