I’m pretty sure that Easter is my favorite holiday… I think I love it the most because there’s not a lot of pressure… I mean don’t get me wrong… I go back and forth… Christmas, Easter, Christmas…
Easter is fresh, new, light! I love the hyacinths at the grocery store that I have to stop to smell… which is sweeter, purple, or pink… always purple… 😉 I love the little chocolate bunny displays and the egg dying kits… glitter eggs, or tye dye… we always go traditional rainbow of course… but one day, glitter! I love how the weather feels in the spring… it reminds me of when I was pregnant for Isabelle, she was born March 3rd on the prettiest day with the prettiest sky with a gardenia flower on my night stand…
I love how around Easter all of our geraniums explode… pinks, reds, and purple! The garden is visited all day long by giant swallowtail butterflies… It’s like the whole garden knows the bunny is coming soon.. get ready!

With every holiday comes tradition… things have to be just so each year… I love how my love of tradition is wearing off on my girls… carrots for the bunny with a little note of course…. hidden baskets… chocolate eggs, fresh croissants for breakfast… it’s all beautiful and a sweet memory…
New traditions are always fun too and always open! This year a little kitty joined our family… The bunny even visited her and left her some treats…
We also got to celebrate my mother’s birthday! lots of fun! a pretty cake! Cousins hunting eggs! Just a beautiful day if you ask me…
