I don’t take for granted one second our summers in Sweden! When I was a little girl I dreamed of traveling the world and visiting places far away… I never thought for a second that I would spend an entire month traveling and living and speaking in a land that is so different, every summer!
It is a lot of fun and for the most part it is the best thing ever… there are also some parts that are oh my gosh so exhausting!… in the end our hearts are so full and our children’s minds are filled to the rim with culture, memories, and lots of ice cream!
This year we didn’t stay with family which was really different and out of the usual… I could feel it in our kids a lot… but we made it really fun for them and had such an incredible bond! It was just us! Just us 5! We stayed in a cute little apartment right smack in the center of the cutest village! We walked everywhere! Fresh bread from the bakery every day! walks to the beach! ice cream in the park! Oh it was just like a fairytale that you never want to end!
